Cross-Age Linking

Last Friday, your child may have come home ELATED to talk about a new, 

 3rd grade buddy they met! 

It was such a fun experience to have 

"the BIG kids" come into our room!

Our buddies helped us with an illustration and writing project of what we'll be for Halloween.

Once or twice a month, 

Mrs. Moore's 3rd Grade class 

will come into our room for a 30 minute, cross-age linking activity.  

It will, usually, be a writing and/or art project that may be too difficult for our little hands, but BIG KIDS could share their helping hands to assist.

Mrs. Moore and I are hoping this will turn into a "big brother" or "big sister" model where the older kids take pride and ownership in building a 

lasting relationship with the Kinders.  From what we saw last Friday, 

it did just that; smiles all around!
