We're Ready for the 1st Grade!

In 14.5 days, your child will be promoted to the first grade!
This year, we've
read, counted, added, measured, sorted, colored, cut, and created
enormous amounts to get our brain muscle the size it is now!
Phew~~our muscles have sure been exercised!
Check out how strong we are now!

Mother's Day!

Thank you to all the families who came last Friday for our Mother's Day Dessert!  We had every KinderKid represented with a family member~~100% participation!'
That is amazing!
Room 408 hopes that your enjoyed your 30 minutes of
hugs, love, and kisses!
We love our mommies!

May you always look at your candle holder and grocery bag and remember all the love we shared on your special day, mommy!

Bye-Bye, Butterflies!

We released our butterflies last Friday!  Many of the Kinders were sad to see their winged-friends leave Room 408, but we were all happy to see them off in their natural habitat!

Please go visit our school garden area to see if any of our butterflies are still flying around.

Bye-Bye, Butterflies!

Field Trip Fun!

Yesterday, was our field trip to the Capitol Theatre and Kissel Park.
We watch 4 children's books performed with live actors.  THE KINDERS LOVED IT!
We rode the bus there and even Floyd came with us!
I am sure your child was exhausted when they got home~~the teacher was, as well!

Vase of Sunflower Paintings

On Monday, our classroom studied the famous painter, Vincent Van Gogh.  We learned about his inspirations, life, and even looked at some of his most famous paintings.
THIS INSPIRED US!!!
We made our own Vase of Sunflowers to display in the hallway.
After an afternoon of painting, they are, finally, done and hanging in the hallway!
Please come and see them, along with our Eric Carle stories!
