Display Your Child's Artwork!

When your child brings their work home from school or creates something at home,
Celebrate it, Display it,  and Love it.
As they get older, the steady stream of little doodles and other class projects willl start to dwindle.  Enjoy their little scribbles and have fun creating your family's own personal work/art gallery.

When  visitors come to your home, they can see the schoolwork, too, and have the chance to ask questions or praise your child again.

Also,  that feeling of accomplishment is a vital foundation for a strong work ethic.  Displaying your children's work is one way we can help promote the joy of a job well done.

You can always slap a paper on the refrigerator with a handy magnet, but giving select pieces of school work a special honor can be more rewarding.

Displaying your child's artwork sends a strong message to your child:
  • "I value what do."
  • "You are  creative, smart,  and hard-working."
  • "Work done well is beautiful."

Show them how proud you are of them!

Here are a few ideas on how  to display yyour child's work at home:

We Made Apple Pies!

Last Thursday, our classroom got to make our own apple pies.  We read the recipe, measured the ingredients, stirred the ingredients, filled the pie crusts, and baked them!

Wow!   They turned out perfect!

My little KinderKids are quite the bakers!
As your child how they liked them.

Apples, Apples, Everywhere!

We have been learning how apples grow, the parts of an apple, and making many amazing apple projects for the month of September.

Thank you to all the families who have donated apples to help assist in our learnings!

Last Friday, we went outside to enjoy the beautiful weather and we ate an entire apple!

Red and juicy, shiny, sweet.

Apple you're so good to eat.

Crispy, crunchy, healthy, too!

The core's all that's left of you!

Week 2

Week two is history! Wow! How time flies...

Your child is now 7 days smarter. YIPPEE!!

The warm, sunny days are aiding our positive behaviors in the classroom. Room 408 is sure busy exercising their bodies and brains. We can't wait to show you what we've been doing at Open House on Tuesday evening. The classroom will open at 6:30pm. We hope you can stop by for a few minutes.

Remember, this is an opportunity for you to see the room and for the KinderKids to share some of their routines, etc. There, truly is, so much see.

Come Meet Room 408!

We made our self portraits and, boy, did we do an EXCELLENT job!

They are hanging in our hallway, if you'd like a better look at this super smart group of KinderKids!

Phew...1st week done!

Well, we all made it! The first few days of school are now history and now we can all relax and begin exercising our brains!

My KinderKids are very enthusiastic and ready to learn! I can't wait to see how big their brains will be by June! I know we will all be surprised by how much they will "soak up." KinderKids, truly, are little sponges when it comes to learning!
