We see their J-Shape!

After 2 weeks of eating, resting, eating, resting, etc. our caterpillars have molted 5 times and are now in their J-Shape.  This means, our caterpillars have made a silk button from the top of their cups and they'll soon be in the chrysalis
ready to metamorphosize into
beautiful butterflies.
We anticipate that by the first week of May, we'll have
Painted Lady Butterflies!
We've been so busy observing and recording; just like a scientist!

This is such an exciting time for the kinderkids...
they can hardly wait!
Have you come into the classroom to see them yet?
Please stop by soon!
