We're Going to Johnson's Orchards!

On Thursday, October 17th, our classroom will be walking down to Johnson's Orchards

on Summitview Avenue. 

Mr. Johnson will give our class a hayride, talk/demonstrate the life cycle of an apple and pumpkin, and let every child choose a pumpkin for $2.

 

I am in need of 2-3 parents to walk with us and I need 1 parent, with a truck, to meet us there. 

The truck will collect and drive our pumpkins back to school.

If you are available from 10:15-12:30 on October 17th, please see me.

 

Every child needs:

1.  Bring $2 BEFORE field trip

2.  Sack lunch

3.  Walking shoes (and laces in double-knots)

Apple Party at 2:30pm to 3:00pm. 

I know your child really wants you to come. 

In fact, they are asking you,

 "Can you PLEEEAAASSEE come to the apple party?"

Apple Party Needs:

On Friday, September 27th, our classroom is having an APPLE PARTY! 

We hope you can find time in your schedule to come join us from 2:30-3:15pm.

 

In order for our party to be a success, please help by donating any of the following:

 

*Apple juice boxes

*caramels (unwrapped and sent in ziploc)

*apples (any variety)

When does my child have Pe? Music? Library? Computers?

You may be wondering when you'd be getting a specialist schedule for your child. 

Well, our building FINALLY finalized our schedule, so please mark your calendars for days your child has the following:

 

Mondays:  Music and PE  (2:30 and 3:00pm)

Tuesdays:  Library (1:45pm)

Wednesdays:  Music and PE (2:30 and 3:00pm)

Thursdays:  Computer Lab (1:15pm)

Friday:  Library (1:45pm)

 

*Kinders, this year, will go to 2 Library classes instead of 2 computer labs.
