My Lil' Valentines!

They've stolen my heart

 with their joy for learning.

I am such a lucky teacher to have been given the opportunity to be their Kindergarten teacher!

100th Day of School!

Hip, hip Hooray!

We celebrated the 100th Day!

Last Friday, we rotated classrooms and completed a different activity in each room.

We painted, made a 100th day hash, and even took 100 licks of a lollipop!  

100 Days Smarter, for sure! 

Look at us!  We're so cool!

Let it Snow!

Mister Winter has arrived and he has brought with him the frigid, freezing, and snowy weather!  

Brr! 

Room 5 has been staying warm with jackets, boots, gloves, snowpants, 

and the occassional inside recess.

  If you haven't stopped in to see our snowman quilt, snowmen hanging artwork, or hallway work, please do so! 

I'm a little snowman,

Round and fat.

Here are my mittens and here is my hat.

Add a little scarf and a carrot nose,

I stand so tall 

when the cold wind blows!

Christmas OVERLOAD!

The past two days have been

 jam-packed with Christmas festivities.  

We made candy Christmas trees with our families, we found Santa's bells in the room, drank hot cocoa in Santa hats, and we even made bead necklaces out of  the beads that we've earned for making smart choices.
